These "honeymoon brooches," were said to represent "the magic of the moon and the sweet nectar of the flower." Wearing these pins told everyone that these couples were on their honeymoon. It became most popular in jewelry in Georgian through Victorian times. The crescent moon holds ten pearls. Another pearl is in the center of the Forget-Me-Not flower that rests in the crescent. This brooch is 22.57mm wide x 21.38mm long.
